Regional Energy Access Expansion Project This project is an expansion of Transco's existing natural gas transmission system that will enable Transco to provide additional year round transportation capacity from the Marcellus Shale production area in the Northeastern PA to multiple delivery points along Transco's existing infrastructure. In Chester County, the project consists of modifications to the existing compressor station, located in East Whiteland Township. In other portions of the system it will involve additional pipes, a new compressor station, and modifications to existing pipeline tie-ins. This project is currently under construction and is an expansion of Williams' existing infrastructure to serve the Northeast region by the 2024 winter heating season |
