Chester County's 2024 Transportation Forum took place on September 24 at the West Whiteland Township Building and virtually, via Zoom, welcoming more than 50 transportation enthusiasts and officials, municipal representatives, and others to learn about the latest happenings in the county's world of transportation.
The event began with an in-person networking session followed by introductions from Chester County Planning Commission's Multimodal Transportation Planning Division Director, Brian Styche, along with welcoming remarks from Chester County Commissioners Josh Maxwell, Marian Moskowitz, and Eric Roe.
Presentations in the forum included an update on the SEPTA GO service and Bus Revolution Project from Harley Cooper, SEPTA; the county's Public Transportation Plan Update from CCPC Transportation Planner, Alex Sankaran; the county's Trails Master Plan from CCPC Trails Planner, Steve Buck; work program and project updates from CCPC Transportation Planner, Patty Quinn; and a closing Q&A discussion for those with following questions or comments.
This was CCPC's fifth annual transportation forum, and we look forward to next year's event along with additional transportation events throughout the year!
