Meet Our New Community Planner
Posted May 17, 2024
As a prior CCPC intern and recent graduate of West Chester University, we are very excited to welcome our new Community Planner to the staff, Elise Davis!
Elise's passion for historic preservation and planning, coupled with her degree in History and Geography with a minor in Planning, made her a perfect fit for CCPC's Community Planning Division. During her time as an intern this past summer, Elise worked on a number of projects such as updating the county's metrics with data related to the National Register Listed and Eligible historic resources, and creating/mapping a driving tour for the Brandywine Battlefield, as well as researching national housing market trends.
While Elise currently lives in Chesco's Franklin Township, her favorite spot is Downtown West Chester as it holds cherished memories from her college days (like Tuesday karaoke night at the Split Rail Tavern).
In her spare time, Elise can often be found cycling with her dad in Delaware or trying out a new recipe in the kitchen. Aside from that, she has been a Girl Scout for thirteen years and even traveled to London and Paris with her mom and sister back in 2015 to meet some fellow Scouts and Girl Guides.
Elise's favorite life motto is: "Make the world a better place," from the Girl Scout Law.
We look forward to continuing to work with Elise!
